Menter|Byrne Architects is a full service architectural firm specializing in high quality residential design. The firm was born from two previous architecture firms: Byrne+Works Architecture and Menter Architects LLC.
At Menter|Byrne Architects we recognize that the first step in generating innovative thoughtful design is creating a genuine partnership with our clients. We see each project as a unique collaboration and an opportunity to draw from previous experiences to connect innovative concepts, sustainable construction practices and technology with built material expression. It is by listening to our clients and understanding their unique perspectives that we are able to deliver creative design solutions that meet a specific budget.
Before launching Byrne + Works Architecture in 2007, Pat spent several years as project manager with The Miller|Hull Partnership and with GGLO Architects in the Seattle area. While working with both of these prestigious firms, Pat worked on several award-winning projects including residential, commercial, educational and hospitality projects. He brings project management and large-scale project technical knowledge to Menter|Byrne.
Margaret has spent over 25 years designing, with the majority of these years in her own design firm. She has a depth of experience working with many local contractors and her strength is in carrying the design intent through all levels of design and construction. She holds a Masters of Architecture and Certificate of Urban Design from the University of Washington, and did design research at the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. She brings a design flavor and a deep understanding of client needs to Menter|Byrne.
